The AWS S3 standard is used by many providers that offer blob storage. All these providers
have S3 compatible APIs. This lets you use the same code and standards for working with all of
them.
S3 pricing is pretty straight forward to calculate. The main component is the GB of data
stored in the bucket. The amount of writes to the bucket has a price, the same with the amount
of reads. Where reads are much cheaper than writes. Typically you also pay for the bandwidth
of moving files in and out of storage.
